Puppy found

Recently, I found the tiniest puppy (about 7 weeks) abandoned on the rough ground near to our villa in Catalkoy (behind the Malpas Hotyel). He was the cutest, dearest little thing but we aren't getting any younger and we already have 2 rescue dogs that didn't take kindly to the little chap so I contacted KAR who immediately said they would have him. I took him along and was met by two very kind ladies who reassured me that he would be fine with them. They put him in a huge dog basked which already had about 10 abandoned pups in it of about the same age. The basket was in a quiet room and my pup settled down amongst his new brothers and sisters. I felt sad but circumstances sometimes dictate as we all know. He could lap milk but hadn't got to the eating stage.
I just wanted to say that I was so grateful to these KAR ladies for their help. I still think of my little chap and hope he is OK and I wonder how anyone can simply put such a tiny mite down in a strange area - away from his mother - and leave him to his fate.
