I have already put this on lost and found but now want to try and get more views in this section.
for the last 3 weeks i have been feeding a small puppy every morning. it lives inside the football ground. there were a few old dog food tins about so presumed someone feeding her. after a week i spoke to a policeman and another man who were at the ground and i was told someone was feeding her.up to this morning the only evidence has been a plate of rice. this morning was my last visit and i have left a large bowl of dog biscuits and some tins of food.
i contacted KAR and they are going to neuter and return. i am not sure of how old this dog is and if young enough for KAR to take in. but they told me they were aware of some pups in the area and were pleased to know i had located one of them.
sadly this morning i had to leave her. every time i go she barks and cries and tries to get into the car. as we are on holiday i dont know when we will return.
is there anyone in the alsancak area who could pop in and feed this dog, even if it was just two or three times a week? i am willing to pay for the food or help sponsor the dog if someone willing to give a home.

How sad. It5 would helpifyou could share exactly where Alsancak Football Ground is. I assume it is on the road to Mare Monte? It would be even better if it was adopted, but that it out of your hands, and personally I think you are a hero to do what you have done. Thanks for taking care of her - maybe someone will now take care permanently. I just wish I could!

So come on loving Kibkomers, what can we do? KAR is wonderful but it means the dog will be a street dog and in a place which is not the best. Also feeding rice is nt the best.

Hope this story has a happy ending.

i informed KAR last week and given them an update today. i found her by chance ...or should i say she found me when she ran up to me. she is a lovely little dog and just wants attention. This dog is on their list to be visited.. i am not sure how old she is. i know they take puppies in so maybe KAR can take her.just a shame she is on her own there.
the ground is on the road leading to mare monte.

thanks marion for your post and help

i have received an email from KAR today to say this puppy will be collected and taken to their centre and hopefully will be found a home.
so pleased to get this news as she is a lovely friendly little character and living on own at moment.
also heard that two puppies we took in last week have settled in well and enjoying themselves.
So a good news day and we are so happy and relieved.

Thanks John for sharing that. I was hoping to get down to see this puppy but my attention has been diverted to a kitten instea.d Not sure it willo make it, but if it doesn't, it will not die alone. Hopefully it might pull through and spend many years with us, but......... So I am so glad that KAR have once again come up trumps and thanks so much for sharing the story.

I just LOVE happy endings. We need them!
