Found a friendly Alsation-type doggy at our gate this morning. We live in Catalkoy, up behind the Malpas Hotel and quite a few stray dogs come our way as they cross through the small ravine next to our villa. This doggy is very waggy tailed and seems to have settled quite happily on the rough ground outside, having made friends with our neighbours' dog. Of course, we are making sure he/she has fresh water. He/she is sitting down so can't tell sex; think he/she is a bit lame, too. I KNOW THIS IS A LONG-SHOT BUT DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS JUST LOST A DOG LIKE THIS???? I saw this dog in the ravine yesterday so it has been 'at large' for at least 24 hours.
