Driving pets to trnc!

Hi
We are moving to trnc in next few months, and have decided to drive, bringing a cat and a dog with us, everything is in place paperwork wise.
We are thinking of coming through Italy, crossing to northern Greece, then crossing into Turkey.
Has anyone done this trip with pets and if so was there problem on the Greece Turkish boarder?
