Missing Retriever near Merit Alsancak Area.

A stray retriever-type we attempted to re-home has gone astray again, near the Merit complex in Alsancak.
The dog is tame, understands English commands and is golden coloured. He has an old white flea-collar on it and his left ear is bitten.
He had been dumped or had found his way to Lambousa fields and we had found him a new home but it appears he's gone wandering, so if anyone sees a stray dog fitting the above description please let me know on 0533 862 4662.

Hello Lambousa,
It may not be the same dog, but we saw a Golden Retriever crossing Girne Bypass at the Ezic Restaurant traffic lights on Thursday morning, around 10:30. It crossed from South to North, and then headed down the road towards the Wednesday Market area.
Hope that your one is found, and accepts the kindly-offered home.

Should have said that this dog had a full (long) coat, and was a very handsome dog.
If my wife had not(forcefully) reminded me that we already have three abandoned dogs in custody, I would have pulled over, thrown him in the car, and taken him home.

I saw a golden retriever walking down the Merit Road towards the Merit Hotels. Don't know if it's the one you're looking for. It did disappear into a garden (no gate) so unsure whether it was lost or just out of its own accord.
