Anyone living in Lapta who can comment on dog barking being prevalent at night

Can't help, as I am further over. But I know we had it here a lot. Try complaining to Mr Namsoy and his office It could be the dogs are in the street, or living in bad conditions. But maybe others at Lapta have the same experience. Where are you in lapta? Up or down?

This is an early research as we are considering to move to TRNC and some one mentioned frequent barking in some areas at night
Will be driving round when we visit in May to check out

Gemini39 We live on the Lapta seaside and only on the very rare occasion do we hear the dogs barking at night. And then it is usually our own when there is someone strange in the street!

Sandman has a point, but for instance in my village if the dogs areallowedout at night they can fight. Then when there has been a poisoning, all becomes quiet, apart from thhe odd dog howling when there is anoise outside. Mine does - but from inside the house. Very wise to take a drive around. See how many dogs are in the street in the day time, but then of course most of them are taking in at night. Maybe it is better tolook to see where people have kennels in the gardens as opposed to the dogs being pets living indoors. Hope that helps. And good luck in your quest.

We are down by the Sea side in Lapta and usualy its quite quiet, but on some nights when they do start it drives you mad. There is a man who keeps dogs for hunting and he has about 6 dogs and when one starts they all start, but thats not very often so we can put up with that. The beauty of the place makes up for it.
