If anyone has lost these beautiful animals then please ring me and I will tell you where they are.
They were curled up together looking very miserable.
I do not have Pertev's phone number. Could someone ring them for me. They might know owner.
The dogs are one year old or so.
Let's reunite them with their owner.
I will ring KAR now to advise them also

Have been back and fed and watered these exhausted dogs.
I think they may have gone on the run on the night of the storm as apparently they were seen yesterday also. Curled up and fast asleep.
Have had a better look now. The female is speyed and recently as the scar is still pink. They have a very sweet nature and have a number of sheep ticks on them.
I wish I knew how to upload a photo of them.
Anyone who knows will you tell me how to do it please

I truly wish someone could foster them, KAR of course, could not help as they are not sick or injured. They are awash with cats and dogs and obviously they have to prioritise their accommodations.
I cannot have them because I have no outside space whatsoever, no shelter which is absolutely no good, also I have many feral cats (one due to give birth any day now) who would be terrified if dogs appeared in our little garden.
If someone will foster them I will pay for their food until their owner is found. I know that these beautiful animals have had a very good home before they panicked and ran away.
Does anyone know how I can get sheep ticks off them, I am sure I can do it if someone can explain how. The dogs seem to be unaware of them but I am sure they should come off.
I, like Metin think they belong to someone who is not on the Forums, but almost everyone has foreigners in the locality, I think this is the key to finding their owners.
Any further ideas anyone? If anyone is going near a vet near them could they please ask the vet whether he has done speying on a young husky within the past 3 months. this is another way we might find out whose they are. Garfield in Karsiyaka has not done one, he said he would certainly remember if he had. Most vets keep records so please help out and ask your local vets

So sorry things have not improved for these poor animals.
There is a vets near Pine Bay Hotel but cannot remember the name, perhaps if they were contacted?
We have always just dropped olive oil, vasaline or similar onto ticks and this has made them release their hold on whatever animal they have latched onto.
Come on you Kibkomers, surely between us all we can somehow help these two defenceless dogs and have a happy ending for them!

Been this morning to feed them again.
They are gone along with all the feeding bowls
Hopefully they have been found by their owner who is obviously not on the Forums, if not, then I can only hope that they have gone to a kindly home where they will be well treated.
I'm selfishly a little sad, I would have liked to have met the person who took them.
Anyway, there are hundreds of animals in trouble here so will just continue to do my little bit.
Thanks to the few of you who were interested enough to reply

Mystery solved. A Cypriot friend of mine whose land the dogs were living on has decided to give them a home, this is really good news for these dogs, he is a good person who will take very good care of them.
He loves them already!

Lor51 - these could not be his missing dog as there were two of them (brother and sister) who were quite inseperable and the male dog was very protective of her.
Sorry.

So do I Metin, I was so upset when I found that they had gone.
I will never (despite my husband's pleadings) be able to ignore animals in trouble.
Very happy and settled about this outcome.

well done Suehowlittle for making this A Happy Ending as well as a Happy Easter. I still can't believe that someone can lose two beautiful dogs like them and not claim them.

The trouble is ,despite what we might like to think, not everyone belongs to a forum. So whoever lost them may be one of these people.

Yes ,I agree they may not be a member of a forum, but surely they could put up posters or advise the local vets and media??

Don't care very much about the humans - they will get over it!
I only cared about these two defenceless, very submissive, beautiful dogs!
They had NO voice! If the owners come forward later they will have a fight on their hands to get them back as they are now treasured additions to a new family!
