Hi all,
I have posted this previously, as I thought he might be lost but Mr Husky has obviously been dumped in the part build house where he wont move from.
Between myself and another kind lady we have been providing water and food for the past month to keep him going as he was going down hill and now hes also starting to get fed up and needs to be rehomed. He is pure pedigree not too big and needs neuturing but happy to help also we see if KAR can help, we would love to see if someone can give him a home. Unfortunately KAR cannot take him.
With my job I am typically in Istanbul 3/4 days a week so struggling to keep at least giving him water.
If you want any more information or to view him please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hopefully somebody can help Mr H -Thanks for looking

Unfortunately this morning the builders have returned to the house he has been chased out but hanging around.
He is going to struggle to find shade now. I will check later to see what they have done with his water bowls.
Again if anyone is interested in helping its important now as he has lost the base he had
Thank you

Thanks

Hi all,
Well briefly we had some good news as the owners of the part build house kindly agreed to take him on, and the builders were looking after him..... so after a month of trying to get him sorted now all of a sudden Mr H has disappeared. He never moves from villa as he gets too hot. Very strange.
So please if anyone spots him anywhere - he has a red collar on now- please let me know and I will bring him back to what is now his new home, or if someone has decided to home him please just let us know so we can stop looking for him... Many Thanks

Mr H still needs a home if anyone know anybody who will take this dog on.
As I said hes very friendly and intelligent and cant really keep on living on a building site. He keeps away during the day then returns in the evening.
He has been living like that for over a month now
Thanks

What is the bloody point of KAR, they do nothing to help animals in need yet they are an ANIMAL RESCUE SERVICE, they are a damned joke and please don't tell me the usual crap about them being full up. They happily take donations etc from the public but refuse to help when needed, what a joke they are.

Belle, I know you said you don't want the usual crap, but have you actually been to the rescue centre? My husband and I go and walk the dogs and trust me, they ARE full. They've recently built new compounds to get some of the dogs out of the kennel block which is a dilapidated building that needs replacing and is used as a last resort. Almost every day the staff arrive to dumped dogs and puppies and the entrance to the centre, sometimes one sometimes 6 or more.
They do have a finite amount of resources from which the running of the centre comes. It's not cheap to feed 250+ dogs and 50 cats, nor all the vet bills. They also capture, neuter and return street dogs and cats to try and keep the population from increasing. This all costs money.
So as a volunteer at KAR I ask you, if you had £100 to spend, but 500 people came and asked you for £1 how would you manage it?

As you say, a good ending for Mr.H. Hopefully he will be very happy in his new home.
I'm sure that he would love to be able to thank you publicly for all the time, attention, and care that you have given to him over the last few months, but, as he can't, I will.
Well done to you, from someone who would have loved to have been able to help, but just couldn't - at least not this time.

So glad this has a happy ending. Strangely enough i saw a white husky on the \malatya road today. Didn't look too clean or tidy. Not seen it befor,e but maybe it belongs to someone around. But so glad this fella has a home. I know that KAR do all they can - they relaly have a very challenging time and I think they do extremely well considering the lakc of faiclities they have. What they do have is never enough!
