I don't know the prices, cos I came here form Australia, but I believe the two sizes are 20 ft and 40ft, but if you have just a few pieces you can get to share a container. It might mean a longer wait on getting it on board as they need to fill the container before it can leave. However, why not checkj with someone like Dolphin Movers, unless anyone on this board has moved recently and knows prices. if you get a container you pay by container, if you share a container you normally pay by cubic space.

We're moving out on 31 October and will be planning on the container leaving mid October. Like you, we don't have a full load, about one third of a container. If you can wait until then we could share a container?

We are planning to use Valentine Removals although we haven't had a quote from them yet, but they do come very well recommended. Have spoken with Jo Valentine and she did say that the first ? sq metres are the most expensive so that's why small loads are disproportionately expensive. (Can't remember how many sq metres Jo said)

Don't use the 'info @' email for Jo as she doesn't seem to get these emails, use valentineremovals@hotmail.com and that should get to her.

We used Emel shipping and they were great. £95 for a whole pallet

We also used Euromed and suicide sounds more pleasant than dealing with them. Our price changed 4 times and took 2 months and have been insulted in ways we didnt know possible.

We used Dophin (albeit nearly 8 years ago) Absolutely great at the UK end, service was second to none, BUT THIS END absolute rubbish and wouldn't touch them again with a 10 foot barge pole.

Sorry, I can't help with prices, which is what you want to know!!

I wouldn't touch Valentines or Dolphin, one shipped us over the other one back, damaged goods galore and lots of lost items. Olaytrans are the best.

Thanks for the Emel shipping info - we will check with them too to see whether they can help us if we make the 'big' move.

I Agree with Schoie
I have used Olaytrans on more than one occasion ask to speak to Hurmus Sarp, they will also do part containers and charge per square meter, the sort out the customs & deliver to your door I would give the 10/10
