I have been quoted £8 per hour is this reasonable?

Think it is very expensive, think 160 Tl for full day is about the going rate.

It does depend whether its a company or an individual who is doing it, personally an individual should be less unless she qualifies as a cleaner. Last year individuals were charging around 100tl mark, companies a lot more as you have the responsibility of ensuring its cleaned to a high standard and taxes.

Its reasonable if the person is trustworthy and knows how to clean, knows what they have to do without prompting, moves all the furniture, and does not do what I call a tidy.

As I have said to owners there is a big difference in preparing a villa for a holiday let and what I would expect for a lets say a weekly clean.

ill do it free . 150 is about right .if you are not happy dont pay me . if you are happy , you will use me again ..

150 tl for a day for a private individual is the correct price . If there not local maybe add some transpor costs . 300 tl for private company . Theres a few brits over here working illegally charging £8 to £10 an hour who get work as thats all people can find . It doesnt bother me just for info really . I can understand why the private company charge 300 tl as they have to pay a host of employment costs etc .
