Thanks for your reply, although not really helpful, as I am looking for someone who can do the job not someone who can't!

£10-15 per hour is the going rate in the UK for one dog - with perhaps a discount for the second.

First of all to Belle there is no need to swear at me or call me names.
To clarify matters I was thinking more along the lines of a young person, school leaver perhaps! Also to remind people that we are not in England and the wages here are much lower, as a matter of fact a close friend of mine works as a dogsitter and gets paid 20tl per day by all her clients!
Neither of the last 2 replies are helpful and they only serve to remind me of the days when the previous forum, Cyprus 44, became a mecca for people with nothing better to do than make unhelpful comments!

Thanks Edward for your reply and providing your telephone number. I am currently in England and will not be returning to Alsancak until 18th September, however I will give you a call to discuss matters shortly after my return.

Hideaway, your answer makes your proposal even worse, child slave labour, 2 large dogs walked by a child, hmmm, wages will always be less with your attitude.
'Bloody' is not swearing and you are a cheapskate.

I am sorry if you found my post offensive by detailing the current rates in Uk for dog walking - I was merely providing information to use as a guide and then perhaps do a comparison for N Cyprus - nothing else
If anything you are the one with the attitude problem.

10tl an hour for wandering around with 2 dogs?
I bet it is as much or even more than some expats pay their gardeners for slaving in the hot sun.
One expat, who manages holiday lets, pays her cleaners 11tl per hour, she used to pay 10tl and give them a bottle of water, since the payrise she has stopped giving them the water, now that is cheapskate.
