Does anyone have a heated swimming pool? If so what sort (solar, heat pump etc)?
Pros and cons please, as I am having a think about this.
First year I lived here I was already in by now, but last year it wasn't until mid-June.

Unless you have money to burn the best option is a solar pool cover.
Nobody seems to sell them in Cyprus but you can get one for a 8x4 for about £100 in the UK, and Turkish Airlines will carry it for free as your hold baggage.
Pretty much doubles the swim season and saves many tons of water as almost no evaporation.
We have an overflow pool but keep it 3+ inches below, and pump on "main drain" setting - works a treat

A couple of questions for MVP please...
Are the solar covers easy to get on/off, and do they last okay in the UV? (Good point about evaporation)
Thanks

It's giant bubble wrap so you can cut to any size using a pair or scissors or stanley knife.
They last 2-3 years as the UV and chlorine breaks them down.
We now have a roller but previously just pulled it off and folded it like a sheet (2 person job) .

If you convert your pool to a copper/silver ionization system, your can reduce your chlorine level to 1ppm. This will extend the life of the cover.
