If you are west of Girne: We replaced ours last year, can't remember the price, but we got the best deal from a small Yapi on the main road on the right, set back a little, just past Karsiyaka square/Dortyol coffee shop (from Lapta direction). We looked at several pool suppliers. The chap in there is a London Cyp, and I think will supply it for less than elsewhere, but I imagine they are all open to offers if somebody else has it cheaper. After a year, ours still looks like new.

We are East of Girne but don't mind travelling if the price is good, thanks for the reply.

Do not forget to take a sample grid with you because there are about 3 or 4 different types available and they are not compatible with each other.

Out of interest, has anyone bought pool equipment from the South side? Just wondering if its any cheaper, I do realise we have to pay insurance and cost of petrol but we go over there anyway.

Mollie .
I suspect you are right, and maybe is the reason most pool stuff you buy here is priced either in Euros or Sterling.

Can I ask why you are changing them. If its cos they are a bit grubby cleaning g them is easy and cheaper option!!!!!! Just a thought and am sure you aren't changing them for that reason

I have just started cleaning my own pool, while walking around the edges I put my big foot through them twice, they are so brittle, and they do look very grubby but thanks for the advise.
Went South today, called at two pool suppliers, boy is it expensive over there, more than twice as much for pool stuff!!
