Just like Ronseal...."It does exactly what it says on the tin"
MultiMax said they hoped to have problems with internet service they provide to be sorted by the 1st Oct. We are paying for 5mb and at 10:00 this morning we were receiving in excess of this. Lets hope it continues!

Blimey, where do you live then because it does appear to differ from area to area. As long as I get my 5mb I'll be content, but it would be great if we got more.

Our move of some strategic departments to girne is almost finished.
We are still working on our major upgrades, as of 11:15am Oct 1, only one part of 2 major upgrades are finished (delays telekom related), there is a chance that the second part can also be finished today.
We are already reconfiguring our network to benefit from these upgrades. Some areas already should see major changes, some only slightly (yet)
We will be working till very late today to accomplish as much as we can in order to have as much positive impact of these upgrades as we can (as we have initially claimed at
http://www.mmcyp.com/crm)
We will regardless start by tomorrow looking into individual customer speed issues and start communicating customers regarding speed issues at an individual level. Any leftover issues re MM speeds is expected to be solved by end of this week.
Thank you for your continued support.

Must say we are more than happy to have signed up with Mutimax.
We signed up beginning of August connected to the internet without to much trouble.
Initially we had a problem with connecting to NTV but that was resolved with the kind assistance of Errol.
We only signed up initially as pay as you go purely as we were unsure of the reception.
We are situated in a bit of the out of the way position so unsure if we would get any good reception.
Result !! fantastic reception.
As I said we signed up as pay as you go but now are waiting for a response for us to take out full package.
Well done Multimax.

You can mail the conversation to yourself. I would raise a ticket tomorrow as suggested by the Boss man too. I know you are having a torrid time but when working fine it is really good. It has been better and more reliable than Extend and the internet club ever were. I have been with them pretty much since they started and this is the first real hiccup we have had. I remember when Extend jumped from 512 to 1Mbps for more money than I pay for my 5Mbps now.

Any compensation available for this poor quality of service for the last several weeks ? A free month or 2 would suffice !

No point of posting anything here.
Any person who still have issues needs to fill out a ticket at

Have just contacted mm due to awful speed test readings and not being able to access what I want.
Dont know where you are but was told that they are having problems in the esentepe area which should be fixed within an hour.
Must say, has been pretty poor service for the last couple of weeks so hopefully now the move is over it should all get back to normal.
Fingers crossed!

Not sure when you raised the ticket but if you look here
http://www.mmcyp.com/crm, there was an issue with the system. I do not know if this has been solved but I always find the best way of getting anything done is to catch them on the online service.
Just so you are sure if you go here ;
http://www.mmcyp.com/index.php?lang=en then click on the live support (Online) you get to speak top someone. After the conversation you can e-mail it to yourself for the record. I have always found this the most convenient way of raising an issue, they have always been very helpful and for me it has always been satisfactory. On small thing, all the English is very good but often when dealing with anyone whose English is not their first language things can get a little lost. I had an NTV problem which was not an internet problem, things like that. That said it has always worked for me. They are online now and are often online till late in the evening.

Jonnie,
This year i have not been able to watch formula 1 formula 1 race or qualifying or 1 american football or a rugby match without there being a problem.
I have used on lune support, sent photos of the tv screen listed channels that dont work and had nothing but excuses, been deflected to their ticket system which is a joke. Been told moving premises, sky changing frequencies, power cuts, oh i dont know, ok will check and get back to you, i could go on and on, for me , my mother and cousin its all the similar problems, last messages i sent totally ignored.
Pleased your experience is good, but mine is ....

15:25Ian Todd:
but regarding the missing channels
15:25Ian Todd:
i don't have any info
15:26Ian Todd:
i hope they will be fixed today.
So ian todd does not know about my missing channels, however he hopes that will be fixed today,
Now when kemal or erol come on here and say i should contact them , i have done for the past 6 months. Still not getting anywhere thats why im on here because i am so frustrated with nothing being done

You have contacted NTV support and got an answer for your NTV problems. NTV has already announced whats going on, on their website
http://ntv.mx/, regarding the ongoing transponder changes by Sky.
Regardless, this is a Multimax Thread, and posting your NTV chat history here is offtopic.
If you have submitted a ticket after 2nd of October to Multimax with your Multimax issues and have not got any reply or have any ongoing issues with Multimax connection, share your ticket number or PM/email me (
kbasat@multimaxcyprus.com) and we will see whats going on.
