Adding a new contact with Windows 7

Stopped working. I press the red Add New Contacts icon with a plus beside it. On one of the laptops the box at the top of the screen where you add new contact name etc, no longer appears. Google help is no help. Thanks.

Sophie do you mean in Outlook, adding a new contact? as Outlook EMail changed recently.
If you have received an email from someone NOT in your contact list, hover over their email address at the top of the message and a box will appear allowing you to save them as a contact.
