Internet quality in TRNC

Hi, I'm an unofficial Multimax Nicosia customer. I'm having high latency to game servers (BF1 Netherlands and other EU countries). Now before anyone says it's fine or not considered as a problem (especially customer services of lot of WISPs here), latency to servers you visit when browsing sites etc. does affect your perceived internet quality a lot. For example, comparing 100Mbps with 20ms ping vs. 100Mbps with 170ms ping internet, even though you can utilize full speed, when you browse within sites or watching videos, you will certainly tell which one is the most robust and agile. Thus, speed is just a small part of quality of the internet.

I cannot blame my connection between roof antenna and station as my latency to servers I visit everyday is stable enough... but high. So, I blame the WISP's internet backbone. Yet, I did not even waste my time to create a ticket or call the WISP, as they hate to hear the word "ping" and not help you at all. A quick test revealed that we have 20-30ms to Adana, TR. Another thing I saw was south Cyprus had ping times as good as Turkey and I knew that they have their Internet from Greece. How is this even possible?!

There is something very fishy about our internet, something or someone is crippling it either from TR or TRNC, as I have no idea of the route.

Please make a ping test to this IP 31.204.142.100, which is an official BF1 server (Netherlands). I was having at least 72ms stable months ago but now having at least 109ms latency. I'm having 5-10ms less in German servers but sadly only BF4 has German located servers and again months ago I was having 65ms to German servers.

It's very frustrating.

Well, thanks but you are not in TRNC. Tests with internet access from TRNC would be more to the point.
