INTERNET PROBLEMS

Is anyone else having problems with the internet.
Every night from about 6pm the internet starts to play up and we cannot watch our tv.
We have tried changing our internet provider but that has not made any difference.
It has got so bad that we cannot watch any TV as the sound and picture freezes every minute or so.
We have 2 boxes and also use several providers - they are all the same now.
We have been here 10 years and have not had this problem until recently.
Any advice would be helpful.

Another option, reinstall Kodi
If you're running an older version/build...

I could be something specific to your location - such as a neighbour switching his Router / WiFi on at 6 p.m. and using the same radio channel that yours does, or some other piece of equipment.
The first thing to try is to hard-wire any laptop or Android/Kodi box direct to the router with a 'LAN' cable instead of using WiFi, and make sure that you alter the settings so that it is actually using the cable connection and not the WiFi.
I realise that this may not suit your domestic arrangements if the router is far away from the TV, but you do need to try it, even if only temporarily to establish whether it has any effect.
If you do find that a direct connection 'cures' the issue (and you obviously need to run the test at a time of day when you normally have problems!) then you could consider spending some money on 'Powerline Adaptors' which allow you to use your house wiring as a substitute for a 'LAN' cable - this is not a 100% perfect solution in every case, but it works fine in my house
Good luck !

WHY IS THE INTERNET SUCH A MESS IN TRNC.
We are having problems EVERY NIGHT.
From approx 6.00 pm the programs start to be affected by freezing pictures and intermittent sound. -
Then we get an on screen message CONNECTION PROBLEMS.
We telephoned TELSIM/VODAFONE and we got told it will be 3 DAYS before they can come out
TELSIM also stated that If it is 'our' problem then we have to pay them for the repair.
- WE HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR 1 YEAR'S SUBSCRIPTION and have not had one night with a full TV programs
THIS IS THE 3 DAY AND SO FAR NO ONE HAS ARRIVED AND WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

When I go to a new ISP (and I've tried a lot) just sign up for 3 months that way you get free installation (Most times) and if there rubbish you just go to the next. Why submit yourself to a crap service for 12 months? You only save few lira by committing to a year's service.

And dont pay for 20MB in the hope you will get 3MB you need for streaming tv, Facebook , skype ect
Unless you are a avid online gamer or download lots of box sets, movies for the times when TT net turn off the tap, Beledeye cut through a cable, or someone builds a block of flats between you and the base station ect ect.
