Net House Internet service .... Not!

The Tornado last week, knocked our internet service out. Needed cable fixing. Despite promises from Net House, we are still waiting for it to be fixed. Supposed to have come last Friday, waited in all day then told Saturday.... then Monday! 2 young very rude boys came yesterday with red cable to go down the walls and told us if we wanted it through the cable pipes we had to get electrician. However they were not even going to connect it to roof fittings! Eventually they did and were supposed to return last night to crimp wires to attach to router! 4.30pm, all gone home. So today we have had new internet company install. Just like that.... after a week of stress, many phone calls, we are now re connected with different company. Disgusting service from Net House

We need more posts like this... well done. They expect people to put up with a Teri le service and so many people do and that’s why they are still in business. Well done for naming and shaming. Although having said that and to be fair to them perhaps people who have had a good service from them may wish to comment!!!

Irrespective of other customers' experience, this post is fair comment of this individual's service. Company - take note or pay the price!

Signed up to Nethouse early January.
Engineer fitted our system the next day - spoke perfect English.
Have been getting more than 20Mbps download speed 24 hours per day.
On only two occasions when their system was down (for maintenance) I immediately got through to someone speaking English and was given clear and accurate information as to when they would be on line again.
No complaints so far!

You are very lucky. We could not contact our family all over Easter, especially our daughter in Sydney who is about to give birth. Net House attitude was that they did not care. We have been with them longer. The whole experience was stressful and extremely frustrating. The company we pay through are disgusted and have provided us an e mail address as they wish us to complain as their calls were also ignored

Having been a MM customer for many years, I'm now looking round for another provider who may, and I'm stressing MAY, be a more reliable in terms of reliable internet speeds especially in the evenings when i would like to watch TV. I've also had problems with NTV the last 2 nights (and reported on another thread) which haven't helped and I note that it's NTV thats the problem albeit provided through MM. Living in the Karsiyaka area, Nethouse has been suggested. Thoughts anyone? Are the various providers basically using the same internet hosepipe from Turkey, so all affected the same and it depends on the amount of customers taking from their part of the hosepipe?

NTV have acknowledged the problem was theirs, not MM - this company is not a NTV subsidiary. Nethouse has been the subject of recent criticism. Who knows which company provides the best service?

This is not an NTV service. The thread is getting lost. My complaint is the internet service not being repaired! We had our new service installed yesterday, on time. Today whilst over south, Nethouse phoned to ask how it went yesterday with repair. Uhh! No one had contacted us and not turned up. No repair since last Thursday Told them we have new internet provider and they can collect their equipment when they pay back money they owe us. I will not hold my breath!

Internet is from TTNET, so it's not as good as southern Cyprus. Majority of Turkey citizens themselves condemn their country's internet, let alone us. So the thing is, apart from your actual needs (price, stability of the speed and quota), first you gotta choose a capable WISP.

You can try Comtech, they have good packages like 15Mbps without any quota at all (even part daily). In my personal opinion, Comtech is the most capable ISP in TRNC. Another one would be Sistem Co., and we have mid-major WISPs like Nethouse, MM etc. Then we have minor players which I cannot list them as they're too "ooops" many.

I doubt TRNC WISPs are being regulated/monitored by the government and penalized for bad services or such. Honestly, if it were me, I would shut them down.
