Anyone worked out a good UK server from the IPVanish server list that allows accessing of BBC iPlayer please?
Every server I have tried so far has still had BBC iPlayer detect my not being in the UK.
Mac OSx.
Thanks.

I don't use IPVanish but I have with other VPNs that resetting the modem (powering down the rooftop WiFi receiver), and/or selecting another country and going back to the UK setting clears the issue.
Kaspersky £19.99 per annum.. on special deal...

I use Smart DNS Proxy Just paid £39 for two years and you can try it free for 14 days. Works fine and Netflix and BBB IPlayer work every time

Briannu, I hope you don't get the same problems with Smart DNS Proxy that I did - if you don't want them anymore, somehow they hijack your computer and they won't go away. They have caused me endless headaches.

Quite possibly. I tried both Glasgow servers each returned
BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it’s due to rights issues.

So it would seem. Have to have a look and as someone else says power down everything and try again. What really winds me up is that I have a TV licence in the UK and am still paying for it in our home there while we are here.
