It's routine maintenance only - if you have an issue, then you need to get your ısp to fix it!

Geoff same here, however after almost daily calls to provider it does improve.
I shall now wait for my telling off.

I think that you should be giving your ISP a 'telling off'

If I complain about sonething and then have to call again because the issue isn't resolved , I escalate the issue to a Supervisor and if they don't get the message, ı work my way up through the Management 'till I reach the CEO - who usually makes damn sure that his underlings do their job in future... After all, that's what he's paying them for!

No issue's Ozankoy yet, not with MM but I understand the the maintenance is TTNet related so may effect all isp's.

Thanks Kerry. My neighbour has been having issues for days and they are not with MM so I think all ISP's are affected to some extent.

So far we haven’t experienced any degrading of our internet service with Multimax.

We are outside of Catalkoy a little higher up the mountain.

We are up the Buffavento Cadessi quite high up and the signal is quite flaky at the moment still. I am wondering if some of it is down to the wifi from my router as on the ethernet cable connected tv the speed is in excess of 20mbps and the laptop is really slow and unable to find server most of the time. My phone is still getting between 6 and 10 mbps though.

So assuming the work that has been done is finished it is without doubt a problem my end. Multimax as ever have been very helpful and no complaint with them at all just trying to figure out what has changed this end other than a Windows 10 update!

Hi Chriswright03,
Just read your post.
Did 4 speed tests.
2 Ethernet & 2 WiFi (within 3 feet of router)
My ISP & nPerf Speed Tests
2 on the island & 2 to Scotland.

Here are the Ethernet v WiFI results, from Esentepe 14/06/2019...

My local Isp via Ethernet.
Via Mobile on WiFi was 36.9Mbps
Via Mobile on WiFi was 36.9Mbps
nPerf via Ethernet.
Via Mobile on WiFi was 34.18
Via Mobile on WiFi was 34.18
https://www.nperf.com/en/?vkey=1f1a238d ... f33c6345c0

As you can see, I have a big drop in performance over WiFi!
I know it doesn't help you.
Just a heads up on what's available.

I had an issue with a new Ford once and actually ended up speaking to the MD (Think it was Ian McCalister) in the UK, this was about 20 years ago. Blagged my way to his secretary then asked to speak to Ian as if he was a old friend giving my first name only. It got some prompt action!

Thanks for the link. I have checked that out but as I am using streamvia and they have set up the dns I do not want to change any of it. It is definitely the laptop as two other tablets are working fine.

OK so I have been looking all over the net for answers. I know this may sound daft but...................one of them mentioned keeping mirrors out of line of sight of your router. We are having some remedial work done here and they took a large mirror off the wall and placed it on the wall opposite the router. I have just moved it and already it seems far better.

Interestingly the email link works when using my iPhone but does not work using iPad. Not that I need it.
Currently in the TRNC.

Have tried with and without a VPN activated on iPad.
