By taking a very short detour, I might be able to go past their offices this morning. I'll stick my nose in the door if you like.

This situation is one of the reasons I left Multimax having had excellent service from them for years. Starting on the 4th of Oct 2021 I informed them I would not be renewing and that their equipment had been removed from the building. I also informed them I had it in safe keeping and asked for disposal instructions.

Following no answer from Multimax I suffered repeated reminders that my service was due to expire and in return I emailed a copy of my original email. Right up until the 18th of October when Multimax informed me that my service had expired and that a technician would call me (Phone) and come to collect the equipment from me I continued to enquire about disposal instructions without receiving any reply whatsoever.

I still have the equipment gathering dust in my office and still await further contact. During that period I was never able to contact them via their on line chat and I refuse to phone them at my (very small) expense as they are an ISP and I would expect them to at the very least answer emails!

I still have no complaints about their overall service but find their communications to be sadly lacking these days. Good luck to them anyway.

I went to the office and the Russian lady (I think) who speaks excellent English, couldn't understand why you were having problem and said to keep on, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Waddo, been there and have T shirt. It took over a year of asking them to remove their equipment. However they said I would be charged if it wasn't handed over. Eventually I said I was sick of it taking up space in the garage and I would be putting outside on the drive that evening for THEM to collect it. Next day it promptly vanished (as things do) A week later I received a text to say their Engineers would be coming to remove dish etc during the week. I immediately rang back, told them it had gone and received a text telling me that I would be charged for same. My reply was not the politest text I have sent, but it was to the point. That was three years ago.

On a side note, does anyone else have speed issues with Multimax ?

I have been getting very low download speeds of between 1 - 3 MBPS lately and its painfully slow.

Any helpful replies would be appreciated or am i the only one experiencing Multimax snail speeds ?

Following a power cut you may find that your modem connects via a less than optimal base station because the re-established power-up of equipment may not give you the best routing. Repeating the power down/up cycle may resolve the issue, if not ask mm to check your connection for errors.

Multimax have sent an Engineer this morning and fixed the slow speeds by moving the Receiving dish to its optimum signal location.

Cannot fault their customer service and determination to keep their customers happy
