Hi,

I know this is the general forum but I'd like to apologise if I didn't get back to certain people a few months ago. I went back to the UK a little unplanned in January but I am now backup and running for all of your Laptop and Computer problems. Please find my post in the Computers and Internet section of the forum. http://www.kibkomnorthcyprusforum.com/v ... =46&t=2437

Thanks

Chris

I needed help with my laptop and contacted Chris. I am delighted with the outcome. I had been struggling for months with a very sluggish laptop and wish I had got things sorted out sooner. Thank you Chris.

Hi,

It would take around 30 minutes. I am based about 500 meters passed the Cratos Hotel. Sorry for the late reply, my friend is over and it was his 50th birthday so I have been away for the last 2 days. My phone number is on my main post in the Internet and Computers section. http://www.kibkomnorthcyprusforum.com/v ... =46&t=2437 05338232142

Hi, Chris has brought my elderly and very slow laptop back to as new.
Properly like must people I considered the age of it, how slow it was running and the service it had given.
Time to replace it I thought.
Wrong, I gave Chris a call and he has done wonders.
First class service.
Thanks again Chris.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. If you or you know anybody going back to the UK then the best place is probably eBay. Check out the link below... Brand new Genuine HP your looking at £35+ but you can get decent ones for £12-£25. Just check they have good feedback and are not internationally posting from China or somewhere like that. In the meantime I will have a talk with my IT contact here as he does order a lot of things in, and get back to you on price.

Hi,

Apparently its almost impossible to get the genuine batteries from here, although he will try. He said they are 99% Chinese imports that are bad quality and will last up to 6 months. He is getting back to me with a price, if its cheap enough it might be worth buying for the time being and then ordering a new genuine HP battery when you can from the UK.

I can get you a "middle quality" battery for $43 if you are interested. Let me know if you are. Cheers
