Hi, I need to find a dentist that can replace my front bridge. Would go to Dr Sada, but no appointments until 10th Aug. really need a good englidh speeking one as my Turkish is not that good. thanks

Rasime based here is lovely, and very competent and caring - she's the sister of Multimax's boss Kemal Basat.

However, her surgery is upstairs, and I seem to have got the impression that you have mobility issues, so it may not be suitable for you...

Please say if that is the case, as other Members may be able to recommend a more accessible surgery.

Ipek Gurpinar at Smile. Telephone: 0392-8152812. Lovely lady, trained in UK so speaks perfect English. Ground floor surgery. Coming from the Lefkosa roundabout in Girne towards Alsancak, cross the first roundabout and then turn right by Gepaz builders merchants. Her surgery is about half way down this road on the left hand side.

Whereabouts in Girne is Rasime's surgery?

It's not far from Barış Park.

Tolga on the top road opposite Mr Pound. Complete professional, reasonably priced and a gentleman. Will always tend to an emergency anytime of day too.

From your house go down to the coast road, turn right, and head for Girne.

Bear left at the Roundabout at the start of the bypass, and go through Karaoğlanoğlu.

Straight across the first roundabout.

At the next roundabout, (Barış Park, Police Station, Wednesday Market) turn 'sharp right'-that is, take the second exit, and then bear right so that you pass the electricity substation on your left - do not take the road up by the side of the park.

After the first road on your left, you will find Rasime's surgery on your left - there is a large 'smiley tooth' sign outside...

I was just teasing - once or twice, you've mentioned 'Lapta, Mountain - side', so I thought, "Well, down to the coast road, turn right...." - the "From your house" bit was just sheer inspiration

Going to call cyprus dental tomorrow and see what they say. As I have been quoted one price by dr sada and almost double at another dentist. Thanks for your suggestions
