My friend will be living here permanently next year. She is on Warfarin and has to have INR blood tests every couple of months to check clotting and dosage levels. Is Warfarin readily available here and if so how much does it cost please? Any advice would be gratefully received.

I'm on Warfarin too, prescribed as "Coumadin"
Comes as 5mg tablets but is made to break in two (thus 2.5mg).
All chemists have them, and the cost of my last pack was 9.65tl per 28 tablets (56 x 2.5mg).

It is available but a pharmacy would be the best place to ask for cost.

I have my INR checked monthly at the Brıtısh Medıcal Laboratory, just past the turning for GAU, on the left towards Girne. Just walk ın cost 30 TL + depending on any discount. Finger tip test, Immediate test results.
