I've checked this subject on Kibkom and only found posts from a few years ago.
Does anyone know if they are able to give the current flu jabs here, or should I wait to get one when I go back to the UK next month?
any advices would be very helpful.
Thank you.

It's a bit late in the year to be thinking about this - you should really have the jab around September time, so as to acquire immunity well before the flu season starts.

If your UK practice nurse is anything like mine used to be, you'll be in for a right good telling off if you leave it

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have a jab after a very bad reaction one year, but as I'm going to the UK better late than never!

The answer is yes you can get flu jabs here. We got ours in October at the eczane by Creditwest Çatalköy.

I read today that it's still worth getting a flu jab now but it will take about 2 weeks to give you protection.

Thank you very much come-on-aylin, very productive post, and it'll give me time to get some protection before I go!

I had the flu jab in September but still got the flu despite taking additional precautions.

I read somewhere that you only have a 60% chance of it working anyway. I had mine in early November in UK. A good few years back I had the jab that made you nod off frequently, does anyone remember that?
