Yes I heard that rumour. My appointment last week was rescheduled as they said he was ill. I wonder what they will tell me this week when they phone me.......
His new clinic is rumoured to be near the Girne hospital.....

His secretary wil contact those patients who have appointments. His new surgery will be nr the general hospital and will be calld Primemed. Next week opening hopefully.

Will do that's for sure. It doesn't surprise me though, the last couple of times he's run down the corridor to get to his office (and he's not the thinnest person is he) after doing a long session of vaccines/and tests. Then had 2 or 3 trainee doctors to teach whilst dealing with us and explaining why we were there and when prognosis was. He has looked harassed for ages but was thorough and kind. Obviously there is a reason why he's leaving and its not for us to speculate but will certainly move with him. Hope his next clinic has parking!!!

Any update on where near main hopsital in Girne Dr Turk is.
Have'nt seen any signs for Primemed on the new building around the area.

Oh Lord, little or no parking then. If you have been, has he any equipment, or are we going to be referred to a certain hospital for everything now, and do you know which one? We have an appointment for the first week in January next and am trying to figure out what to do, in advance. Thanks.

Bjb why don't you wind your neck in. DR Turk is a normal general practitioner and has to refer you to a specialist. It seems you have nothing to contribute to kibkom only negative comments.

I had an appointment last week at the new surgery. It is in a white bungalow next to the flower and pot shop which in turn is next to the key cutting shop.
There is parking behind it.
All nice and modern inside and Dr Turk his usual lovely self.

I'll ignore Karmels rudeness, and thank you Panchochat for your helpful info. I was only enquiring re Dr Turk because we've been with him since he moved from his very first surgery in Girne years ago and thought it would be interesting to know which Hospital he was referring patients to. There is such a choice now isn't there?

He referred a friend to the general hospital for an x.ray but that dept was closed when they went. His secretary then said go to Letam in Kyrenia so no longer a one stop shop.

Has his nurse gone with him?

Can anybody please let me have the phone number for Dr Turk. He can no longer be contacted through Near East hospital and they will not give out any info about him. I am understood to believe he has left Near East for new premises.
I would like his contact details for an elderly neighbor who has been under his care for a long time.
