Marion,
If you wish to go to NEU Hospital, you ring them up and ask for an appointment mentioning 'Mens Cancer Health Check organised by KHYD - ring 0392 675 1000
If you wish to go to Magusa Tip Merkezi (Famagusta) , you call Ahmet Bey on 0542 8738540 to arrange the appointment.
Both hospitals have an official receipt book from the Association so if anyone does take this offer up, the Association ask that they donate a minimum of 10TL of which you should receive an official receipt so that you know your money is going to the right place.
Hope all is now clear.

Oh dear, the bit I put in the paper is not now clear enough. But I can do a tiny bit next week to clarify. I certainly did not mention the 10tl but will do so.
sorry about that.

The PSA test in notoriously unreliable. In the UK they will usually only give it if there is a history of prostate cancer in the family and under counselling conditions as it is know to give "false positives". The US has steered away from PSA tests as they have shown to overdiagnose the problem. Prostate cancer in commonly asymptomatic for life and positives from PSA tests can result in treatment which can be complicated and cause its own problems when the treatment was unnecessary. Now put yourself in the position where you are paying privately for treatment in the good old TRNC.........
