Hi Scoobydo, thank you for keeping this going, about 5pm if that is ok with you, don't worry if too early Ayse, Jojo and I will be there, hope to see you Sunday morning anyway at Bootfair, which reminds me if you have any matchsticks can you bring them, me eyes maybe closing throughout the evening, but will be worth it for the fish and chips (in my case chicken), so come on everyone even if you don't want to play the darts enjoy the special price food, and do your bit, a donation is being made to Tulips for every meal served. Anyone wishing to book in advance which will be a great help can contact Ayse Esme on 0533 849 7332. Lets make this happen, this deserving charity is needing our help and we may need theirs one day, hope to see you there!

Carolhm there can be a charity box at the boot fair every Sunday, we are more then willing, also any charity can have a boot their free of charge, contrary to belief everything here is not about making money, I make none, but helping those not as fortunate as us, costs nothing, I can remember when I was first retiring a few years ago, my friends were saying what will you do, there is no way nothing you work too hard, my answer was nothing and if I do it is for charity, 5 years down the line, I think maybe be one day I may need this and would have no right to it, so now doing what I think is right, and helping others who need it before me, so come on everyone, even if you have never thrown a dart join us, even if it is just for the food, or the raffle we are holding with quality prizes which includes 1 years third party car insurance, hope to see you all there!!!

Isn't it refreshing to have the Barbie's of this world involved in life here. Big hearts - just what we want. Greed is overtkaing the world and people are suffering as a result. If anyone can hlep to decrease the suffering of others, then the world becomes a better place.
Thanks Barbie for being one of those.
will try to see you Sunday and will take a look for the wings you keep well hidden!!!!!

Barb, I will call in on Sunday morning to see you.

Carolhm, thank you for your support, I will take a collection box to the Car Boot but it will be up to the girls as to whether they 'feel' that they have a safe environment to place it in public. Please say hello, I would love to meet you (I may already have had but who knows on these forums)

Good morning

The reason i asked about a charity box being at the boot fair was , we try to go to as many charity events as poss ie coffee mornings . But because a lot of events are a long way out from us we dont go to as many as we would like . I know its not all about money , there is meeting new people and having a fun time too . But we would like to donate where we can get to and we are still meeting new people there
Sue , would love to say hello to you but dont know who you are . Its certainly poss that we have met some where like you say . The only person i recognise is Marion cos of the paper . I vote every one wears name badges

Dont forget the boot fair every one tommorow at pine bay

Woodspeckie, thank you for your very generous offer, unfortunately it was not seen, but known about to late, we did have same prize donated and therefore if your wish is to donate to Tulips then please do so and they can add it to another fundraiser and bless your heart for your kindness. Tonight ended as a brilliiant surprise for Ayse Esme the organiser, as we only had roughly 20 entrants, and the weather kept people away, but over 700tl was raised, which is excellent, so well done Ayse and thanks to all who attended.

You are most welcome to add it to another fundraiser, will you please let Soner know and the winners name, I heard today one of my friends has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer so prompted me to help Tulips as I couldn't donate the prize in the UK.
