Well, her profile gives her location as Kuwait! - although in one of her previous posts she does mention being in the Karsiyaka area.

I was going to suggest Hay Pem (opposite Green Holiday village on the coast road in Alsancak) as they have done a few appliance repairs for me, but decided not to, as

1) I have no direct experience of their proficiency with Hoovers,

and

2) I knew that Tom would say "Fine, if you're local to Alsancak"

It is a problem deciding whether to answer or not, when people ask for a recommendation, either for a repairer, supplier, or eatery, and do not give any indication of their location or mobility - and I'm not 'having a go' at Jane M here, it's a frequent occurrence!

I would have also recommended Tektan, as they have done work on a variety of items for us. However, if the poster lives in Iskele or Guzulyert, my advisory post is useless to them. Her indoors advises me to ignore postings for help if there is no indication of location - can I?
