Orhan Saglam has just completed yet another project for me and I am pleased to say that he never fails to let me down. Having previously used his services for a variety of jobs, his team of hard working lads have come up trumps again.

All work was completed to a high standard and probably these three lads have high standards and certainly put in a hard days work. Reliable and punctual another trait I have not seen too often .

I don’t make recommendations lightly, and can’t recall saying it too often in the last 10 years but I recommend Orhan and his team to anyone.

What sort of projects does he take on, please?

We have used Orhan and his team for a number of projects over the last 4 years.

These have included the following:-

Complete repaint of the outside of our property

Retiling of external patio

Complete repaint of the inside of our property

Kitchen fitment

Supply and fitment of metal garden fence/gate

Build and fit underbalcony store area

For each project we have had excellent advice plus been given the option to select and choose what quality of paint we would like to use. This was especially important when we were deciding what type of paint to use on the external repainting project. As many will know the Cyprus weather can take its toll on the paintwork so it was important for us to find and select a type of paint that would last a good number of years. We were taken to view his work on other properties so we could understand better when making our choices.

I can confirm that Orhan has never let us down, his team work very hard and leave the site as clean and tidy as possible after a days work. Can not recommend him enough. Be aware that he is very busy, for a reason.

Sadly my experience with Orhan regarding building work did not live up to expectations despite the many positive testimonials on this forum. He left me with issues unresolved that I have had to take care of myself despite "reminding" him more than once. A nice guy but either out of his depth or just too keen to get to the next job. He has joined my long list of Cypriot "tradesmen" that I have no wish to see again.

How unfortunate for you, proves the old saying - every silver lining has a cloud.
