Hi Everyone,

We are a family butchers in Ozankoy, specialising in Cypriot and English cuts. We have a full range of steak (properly hung), sausages - lamb and mint, Cumberland, pork and leek, beef. Deli meats each day are cooked and sliced beef, turkey and ham.

The butcher, Yusuf, will gladly assist with any cut of meat and can recommend different cuts for different cooking styles/recipes.

Feedback from customers has been great in our first month of opening and so if you`re in Ozankoy pay us a visit! We are just two doors down from the Muhtar`s office in the centre of the village, there`s a signposted carpark opposite and we are open Mon to Sat 8am to 6.30pm and Sunday 8am to 12.30pm.

Great!!!! I've been hoping there are some butchers that offer different cuts and types of meats.

Comes highly recommended from myself, Yusuf now supplies my restaurant ( PapaDoc's Alsancak) and I can honestly say I am more than happy, Steaks very soft and tasty, Sunday roast beef very tender and professionally rolled,,, great selection of sausages and burgers bursting with flavour,,,,,, beef olives,,,, proper gammon steaks,,,,, lamb,,, pork,, bacon,,, cold meats,,, most importantly the hygiene and meat control are the best I have seen here in Cyprus, keep up the good work Yusuf.

We've tried a lot of the produce there. Fantastic, especially the ribs, whole leg of lamb, sausages and chicken wings.... yuuuummmy. Keep up the good work, you will never be short of customers.... very happy ones

Hi Jen,

From Lapta, head to Kyrenia (the new bypass road is probably the easiest route to take), as you come into Kyrenia follow the signs for Bellapais/Belerbayi and Ozankoy. When you turn right at the traffic lights head straight on, past the Mosque. Passing Altinkaya Hotel on your right, you will come to a roundabout signposted up the mountain to Bellapais. At this roundabout you need to go straight ahead. The sportsground and then the university will be on your left. Carry on straight ahead, past Dream Castle Restaurant which will be on your right. As the road dips, you will see a taylor shop on your right. When you pass the taylor shop you need to take the next left turn, down the street. The Muhtar`s office and the postboxes will be on your right hand side now. The butcher carpark is on your left and the butcher shop is one door down and to your right. You will see it as you turn down the street, silver sign Zorlukasap on the side of the building.

Hi there, and sorry I haven`t been online to see this - the kilo price for turkey we should be able to confirm next week

There are bags of yellow lemons, tangerines (sweet), oranges (sour) and grapefruit in the shop today, free to good homes/cooks, please help yourselves as we`re ankle deep in them
