Water pressure reduction. Any advice who can help?

Hi
Apartment in Kyrenia probably about 15 years old but in very good condition. We live here for 4 years but the water pressure in primary shower continuously reduces. Does anyone know a way (probably chemical) to lean the pipes going from the roof? Any other smart way how to deal with it (roof pump already been advised). Thanks!

I guess with the age of your apartment the pipework is iron, if this is the case I suspect it's badly furred up and needs flushing with chemicals.

Thanks Carbotec can be plastic or metal but still could be cleaned so what kind of chemical would you suggest?
And thanks gates filter taken off and new shower pipe and shower head installed. Same story.

Btw the tank on he roof clean inside and out. Water outlet doesn't seem to be clogged so the problem could be anywhere lower.

has the pressure dropped in all outlets?, has the pressure dropped in the taps in the room with the shower? (after cleaning exit gauzes) is there a gauze which is blocked on the entry to the shower?

I have had similar problems with debris caught up inside the isolation valves prior to the taps. Removing these junk valves has always resulted in the valve body breaking up in the outlet of the wall. Real pain to sort out. Replacing now we better quality valves. Our washing machine hose has a filter at the isolation valve end, this is apart from the one always found in the solonoid valve of the washer.

Pressure reduction was going very slow in the course of last 4 years. Only showers and we feel it mostly affected the primary shower used most of the time. Same room tap is okay but likely due to filters which increase the water flow. shall we just replace the water mixer?

Try cleaning the shower head with PERCOS you will find it in all supermarkets with the cleaning stuff. This will descale the head safely.

Shower head brand new from DIY shop. No need to descale.
