report on cyprus
Have just watched the first of a five part report about Cyprus on Yorkshire tv,according to the reporter the UN are busy keeping the warring factions apart, ouzo shots at dawn. There was some filming of the DM zone showing battle scarred buildings, abandoned houses and a new Datsun car, complete with dust, flat tyres and a showroom interior.Interesting to see a part of Nicosia that has been hidden away for so long.

Maybe a link of sorts.
Choose your spouse, friend, relative, in difficult days. On a good day, no one shows their purity.

Are you sure it wasn't Uzi shots at dawn? Ouzo shots at dawn sounds like Ayia Napa!picpic wrote:Have just watched the first of a five part report about Cyprus on Yorkshire tv,according to the reporter the UN are busy keeping the warring factions apart, ouzo shots at dawn.
It's obviously a very flawed production if their slant portrays the UN keeping any factions apart - everybody knows they only sit on the hands and it's the presence of the Turkish Army that keeps the GC's in check.

Someone should tell them to get their facts right.
