Here we have a picture of wild Cyclamen growing along side the native Uladag Soda Water Bottle Plant.
And a native Water Bottle Plant, growing in the bushes.
Nice Picture.

That's the Lesser Spotted Uludag and the Greater Spotted Su of Cyprus - if anyone's interested in the binomial technical names (Linnaeus 1771 - it was the death of him too)

If you keep your eyes peeled, then in our area when walking the dogs you can spot the pineapple flavoured condom tree, which is in full bloom now the weather has improved. These are intertwined with the 36B underwired brazier plant and the much more rare black striped Jockey bird. The above are usually nocturnal but can, to the practiced eye, be seen during the day.

Re: Nice Picture.
When I first came to North Cyprus on holiday I found many of my holiday snaps were spoiled by having some form of rubbish in the background.
On the holiday before I finally decided to come permanently, I deliberately photographed some of the less attractive aspects, unsightly buildings, ruins (not picturesque historic ones) , rusted cars and other rubbish , to remind me of the bad side. The funnny thing was nearly all of those seemed to have some beautiful flower or tree somewhere in the picture.
To coin a phrase: This is Cyrus!

Cyrus T Crassvandel the Third is the latest of a line of American millionaires who (according to my North American sources) made their pile out of constructing large and ugly buildings - casinos, hotel complexes, blocks of flats etc. and destroying the ecology of areas of natural beauty in the USA by bulldozing wildlife habitats and covering flora with concrete, not to mention ruining everyone else's view. He diversed into seaside development , ruining areas of coastline and launching a thousand "leisure" craft to corrupt to atmosphere , shatter the peace of sunbathers and damage marine life, and as a sideline he has a chain of fast food outlets to undermine the indigenous culture and cuisine and encourage obesity and scattering of litter.
If the belief that anything from the USA is gilded and covered with diamante , in the last decades many European countries, including the UK,
have rushed to follow his example , and there is evidence that Turkish Cypriots are joining in the fools' gold rush.
And, no Groucho, I don't think he listens to me!
