? Bankers Draft
If I were to bring a banker's draft from the UK - can I pay it into a Turkish account? Any advice appreciated.

Re: ? Bankers Draft
You would need to check with the specific bank first as some only accept UK cheques on business accounts if at all. It would be far better to arrange a SWIFT transfer if you can do this.

You may find that it won't clear for 30 days either.

Re: ? Bankers Draft
I needed to transfer some money from UK bank, I have an account with Near East, but I am not great with computers.
The guy at the branch just guided me through it on there system, and it was in my account here the next day, I can't remember if there was charge, if there was it was small.
But as other people point out, a bankers draft or cheque takes along time to clear here.

If you use Transferwise, the charge is much less than banks.
