Beware - burglary Ozankoy

Our friends villa was burgled recently (while they were in the UK) and apparently it is happening more often now (another villa in the same road was broken into 2 weeks before) especially in the Catalkoy/Ozankoy areas. This is the 2nd time this villa has been burgled. The villa is on the Ozankoy/Catalkoy border not far from Club Tropicana. The police think this time the culprits used a child to gain entry as the window they smashed and got in through was a very small bathroom window. The insurance company says that bars need to be put up at the windows or shutters fitted to all downstairs windows/door or their insurance will not be valid - at a cost to our friends. ! Every window (apart from the bathrooms) and door is already fitted with security bolts - but that didn't deter them the first time as they simply smashed the lounge windows to get in.
They took nothing this time !!! But who knows if they intended coming back with a vehicle.
