MOT & Emissions Test
Our emissions test runs out next month but the MOT isn't due until October. Do we need to have the emissions test done or wait so that it runs concurrently with the MOT? Thanks.

Re: MOT & Emissions Test
Mine was the same, I waited until the day that I was going to get the MOT, and got the emissions done then.
If you get your emissions done more than a few days ahead, the MOT station may not accept it, so it pays to do them concurrently.
I don't think that there is an 'expiry date' on the emissions test, anyway...(tho' to be honest, I've not double checked that)

carol Ian
Emissions cert has to be done less than 14days before mot the mot is the "required" legal document for the road tax along with current insurance for the car to be legal.
The only requirement for an emissions certificate is to obtain an mot
But remember make sure your mud flaps are ok otherwise a FAIL
