Fabric advice please.

Could anybody tell me if there is a fabric shop with a good selection anywhere ? Also can you buy very wide poly cotton sheeting here ? Thank You .

There is a fabulous material factory in Famagusta. These directions from an earlier post.
Follow signs for the town centre 'till you get to the roundabout with the monument on it. Take the 2nd exit (Larnaca Road) and follow the road down to until you see a new tower block on your left. Take the next left turn (2 large palm trees in a garden on the corner of the road) and then take the first right by the playground and follow this road for a couple of miles. You will pass a large Church on your left and will eventually see a Mosque with 2 Minarets, on the right. Turn immediately right after this, then right again and first left. The warehouse is a short way down on the left.
A bit of a maze inside but well worth a visit.

Owned by Ezir. They are good but very, very busy now. I was there recently for a pair of curtains...told me maximum 10 days....took over 3 weeks so you cannot be in a hurry. Hope this helps.

Mermaid Textiles on the right on the main road to Catalkoy. Excellent variety of textiles etc. They also make curtains and do upholstery.

We always use Mermaid. They have a huge selection. Have never been to the one in Famagusta but heard it is great, just a long way to go. Service is always excellent from Mermaid. In fact just had some curtains and zebra blinds done, and the weave for carport. Can't grumble at the prices, good quality and excellent service, all done within 10 days.....oh and a matching table runner as a present.
