Turkish Troops invade Syria

Turkish troops move into Syria, not to tackle ISIS but to move Kurds away from border areas and to stop them setting up a state on the Turkish border. No doubt this will add to inter communal tention which is already at breaking point, mass demonstrations expected in Istanbul and Ankera with no doubt a strong reaction from the authorities.

Has this actually happened? Searching all news sites on internet, at 22:00 British Summer Time, still only reports of Turkey's plans, and/or "HOW they would invade..." - no statements or claims that it has taken place.....
