Sods Law! Supreme, Tempo, Lemar and now Saah Market!

In the past, as probably some of you will remember, we have put on Kibkom, appeals for homes for waifs and strays that have somehow jumped out at us at the various places where we shop.
As well as bringing the meat and two veg: home we have brought these poor, dumped dogs of all shapes and sizes home. Two we have added to our family and the others we have been so lucky to rehome or KAR have helped with them.
Today we went firstly to Tempo, for the ham of course and then on the Saah Market for the catfood, olives and bits and bobs.
We picked up a trolley and were in the store for about 20 minutes.
Coming out of the main back doors we were met with two local girls and one of them cuddling a little puppy in her arms. When asked, she had found it by the trolleys, obviously dumped by some callous cretin in the short time we had been in the store.
If we had turned our backs this poor little dog would have been put back down and what percentage would any body give on it being still alive now.
We could not take anymore into our family, five at times can be too much - Thank goodness for KAR!
One phone call on a Sunday as well and they told us to bring the puppy to them which we did.
It is a little boy, black in colour with distinctive markings of white on his paws and chest and he is a little darling. We called him Saah !
Thank you KAR - at least now he stands a chance of life! Thank you also to the two young girls who picked him up and saved him from being run over .
Shame on the person/s who dumped the poor little one in the first place.

Thank god there are people about like yourselves it heartwarming to read stories of this type. I just wish the owners of these dogs that are brought onto the island for the yearly hunting fiasco would have them neutered then this never ending parade of puppies would not have got out of hand. All owners should have their animals done then maybe kar would have a chance.

bigbadbob - later that same day when KAR were collecting the scrap food from Sah staff told them that another puppy had been found . It was similar size and the same age so we assume that they are from the same litter. The "brothers" were reunited at the KAR Rescue Centre where they are currently waiting for their new "forever" family to see them.

Thank you KAR for letting us know about the other little one.
We did look at the time, just in case there were any more dumped.
The little one we brought in was a cracker and no doubt his brother is the same, so everything crossed for them both to find someone to open their hearts and home and give them the love and care they so deserve.
