Connecting flights Turkey

You may or not be aware that Turkey are not changing the clocks when we do. I have a UK flight through IST on the 3rd of next month and was just notified that I now arrive IST one hour later than scheduled giving me 1 hour less to make the connection.

THY have since been in touch by e-mail again an hour later and have moved the second flight back an hour so looks fine again. Be careful and check though

Similar experience for me today for my two flights on Sunday 25th of October, from Ercan to Gatwick.

Two texts and two e-mails, two hours apart - they are clearly working their way methodically though the schedules for the two-week long period where Ercan and Istanbula will be out-of-synchronisation.

Just had ours changed too. But if you work it out nothing changes but departure time from IST. ie. 0700 becomes 0800 but you still arrive UK 0900. Because TRNC & UK will be GMT & Turkey DST. Simples!!!
