On 7th October the European Parliament Strasbourg took part in a debate on the current situation in Turkey.

MEP's from different countries gave their views on Syria, Turkey and the refugees, views on Turkey joining Europe and some talk on Cyprus and TRNC and a small piece on the property issue by individual MEP's.

Takis Hadijgeorgiou MEP - United European Left
Notis Marias MEP - Greek Conservative
Militiadas Kyrkos MEP - Greek Socialist
Kostas Chrysogonos MEP - Greek Left

Demetris Papadakis MEP - Cyprus Socialist - talks Cyprus

Mike Hookem MEP - UKIP
William Dartmouth MEP - UKIP

are all ones to listen to.

At the end of the debate it goes into "catch the eye" but names are not shown, but listen to the 2nd speaker who talks of President Akinci.

It lasts about 1 hour 20 mins. and there are interpretors speaking. I had to listen on Google Chrome as problems with Adobe Flash Player.

It makes interesting listening.
