How many times have you moved property previously? When was the last time?

We moved the begining of February this year. All we have done before is arrange for someone to come and move the receiver, sign paperwork and pay 50tl. No hassle and simple if you are always busy.

Ok, this explains things a bit.

To answer to your question, nothing is set on stone, and we try to help our customers needs in the most efficient way we can.

Our least busy months are february, june and july, whereas the most busiest months are September and October.

It does look like we did what we could for you back in february when it was possible.

Considering how overwhelmed and busy the staff are at MM, it would really mean a lot to return the favor to us by obliging and visiting us at the office this time for the necessary paperwork, as per actual policy.

If you cannot, or if MM staff can find any chance to sort things out in some other way, I am sure they will do so in the quickest possible time.

I have moved 3 times on this island and I have never been asked to go into the office. I have always just arranged on line or over the phone. I really cant get to the office as we are moving this weekend and I work all week. We are on pay monthly so I do not even think we have a contract now.

Sounds like MM have done their bit to be honest. If you had to go for a residence permit, a blood test, get the car MOTd, go to the dentist, the bank or some such thing, like the rest of us I am sure you would be able to find time with a bit of thought and planning. This sounds more like "will not" then "Cannot" and another excuse to give MM a hard time.

Yes but as I have said I do not have the time to go there and I do not even have a contract as I am pay monthly and multimax are more the happy to take my payment over the internet but not arrange moving my equipment. Yes I would have to take time of your hospitals and denitsts but really just to get my internet moved is stupid.

That you chose to pay monthly for your service rather than 6 monthly or yearly does not mean I am afraid that you do not have a contract with MM. You do have a contract with us as required by law for our protection and yours. Currently that contract is for the provision of service at your old address. The legal advise that MM has had is that as such this is potentially grounds for that contract to be considered invalid from the point at which we provide service to you at your new address and thus we have been advised that such a change of address requires the signing of a new contract that reflects the new address. I do appreciate that these rules and laws can seem excessive but we do not make up our system and procedures to try and comply with them with an intention of making things difficult for our customers. I will try to contact you directly next week and see how we can resolve this issue to everyone's satisfaction if possible for this forum is not in my view a suitable place to do this.

Scenario:

Customer - can I order 2 X Mexican Pizza's, Gatlic Bread & a bottle of Coke.

Pizza Place - Thank you for your order, that will be £12.50p and it will be ready in 15 mins for you to pick up.

Customer - that's fine but I want it delivered to 123 Smith Way, Lala Land.

Pizza Place - but we don't deliver, it's collection only !!

Customer - but I WANT it delivered, I don't HAVE TIME to pick it up

Pizza Place - we do not deliver, if we deliver to you then everyone will want delivery and if that happens it will lessen our profits and we will have to put our prices up to all our customers - I hope you understand the dilemma we have?? - if we give it to one everyone will want it.

Customer - HANGS UP !!

Sorry, rant over !! -

So if the Pizza place do not have delivery, but at those three instances, it was coincidentally convenient for the establishment to make exceptional deliveries out of norm to the customer, the establishment then becomes obligated to continue deliveries at any cost to the customer till eternity?

This sort of approach really makes us reconsider our company policy of 'help/accommodate customers whenever we can'. We doing our best and go out of bounds to help a customer not once, not twice, but three times, and all we get at the end is unjust criticism when we dont do it for a fourth time...

Its a depressing situation with no light at the end of any tunnel. Cannot think of how we could have done, or what we can do now to make this ok...

Having spent a considerable part of my life "on the wrong side of the counter", I know that the saying " the customer is always right" is not quite correct - not uncommonly, it should be "the customer is a right *%$*^!*...."
I would just say that I've seen many, many more supportive and complimentary posts re MM than otherwise; on my visits/holidays I've not heard any complaints from those I have spoken to - so next year, all being well, I will be signing up....
So take heart; unfortunately people tend to complain in print or online far more than they praise - it's just part of life's rich tapestry....

Hey guess what MM
stand on your head one finger up your nose drinking a glass of water and fitting internet.

And still they would be unhappy, "can't please all the folks all time".

"no matter how hard you try "

We get wonderful service from you " THANK YOU"

Praise for MM, Excellent customer service. Doubtful that you'd get this level of service in the UK.
My daughter is with BT and is very envious of the strength of our internet connection and the service MM provide.
Well done MM and thank you you do a fantastic job under difficult conditions.

I would also like to say a big thank you to MM, they provide an excellent service, better than any other I have found here. But, clearly they can't do right for doing wrong for some folk. At least the majority (hopefully) of MM customers appreciate them for what they are, good service providers, who actually recognise customer service and satisfaction.....but, you can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, you can't please all of the people all of the time.......at least most of your customers are happy bunnies, well, I am anyway. Illegitimi non carborundum......

I was pointing out how stupid the analogy was - I'm quite happy with MM product and service.

Maybe MM should be a little less tetchy when criticism (warranted or not) is laid at its door. Maybe instead of waving a handbag at customers it should just politely request the issue is taken off board and dealt with by PM or email.

If you are in the firing line of a load of moaning minnies you are going to need a thicker skin.

geez all i was asking was if anyone else had been asked the same and trying to point out hard it would be for me or my wife to get into the offices. I was not expecting to be asked to do this as i was never asked to before. Not once had it even beed mentioned to me before that we needed to go into the office. MM dose offer a good service i was confused to be asked and the lady who i talked to was not very helpful and tbh made us quite upset with her attatude.

madeincyprus, suggest you vote with your feet and find another provider. There appears to be little support for your view on this thread. You'll make yourself ill if you carry this oN, and MM is not the only provider in the TRNC.

If you knew when you would be moving, surely you could have gone to MM long before you actually arrived to arrange relocation of the service? (Hind sight is wonderful)

MM question,

Is it possible to set up an online contract renewal/relocation form? Not sure if this is feasible or even legal.

Just a question not a dig. As everyone will know I'm a big MM fan .

Keep up the good work and don't let the few spoil it.
