Christmas Market at the Karsel restaurant, BOGAZ Harbour this coming Saturday, 5th December from 10.30 am - 1.00 pm

A number of stalls will be selling crafts and preserves, hand made Christmas cards and table decorations, traditional Christmas cakes, quality second hand clothes, household goods and lots of bric-a-brac.

In addition to the market, Santa and his elves will be there to give out gifts to the children and of course the GRAND raffle with lots of prizes.

All welcome to this annual fun event.

As a keen supporter of the above, could I add my twopence worth to the announcement.

People need to know that the elves are possibly the largest in Christmasdom! Both elves are around the 6ft mark, but they are big hearted and generous and give gifts to young children along with Santa. And there are some special stalls, Lois of Delcraft, Buyukkonuk will be there with their products, and Kiymet from Cirova will be there with her precious pots of preserves, plus Super Crafty Sue, the wizard of floral arrangements will have hand made Christmas cards, table decorations and potted plants at ridiculously low prices (but beware they are sold out with in minutes of the fair opening.) And to balance up the animal aspect, Sarah Parcell of FARC (Famagusta Animal rescue Centre ) will be there bringing awareness of the dogs of Famagusta to which she has devoted her super energies over the last few months, and has worked tirelessly to find them homes

For those who live around the Bogaz/Iskele/Karpaz area and are not and cannot get over to the KAR bazaar, I would throroughly recommend this one. . The place, people, prices are fantastic. Worth the cost of the petrol to go there. And if people want, the Karsal does good food and you can make a day of it by staying on for lunch etc.

And not only will you have a great morning but you will be helping our four legged feline friends over there for the money is spent by locals looking after many cats in the area keeping them healthy and babyless! Speying a speciality.
