Remember the USN warship in the attack by a local vessel. The Russians were militarily correct in protecting their asset/crew with no cas.

The Russian destroyer was 'at anchor' off Greece in NATO/EU waters.........!!!! Why? WTF was it doing there? Did Greece invite it there to protect it from those nasty Turkish fishing boats???

I guess the Russian warship had the same right to be there as the Turkish fishing vessel had. No complaint as to the presence of either vessel has, as yet anyway, be raised by the Greek Government so it can be assumed it both knew the vessels were there and is happy.
