Terrible Fire in Dubai Hotel before Fireworks Display

A fire has broken out in the Address Downtown Dubai Hotel near the Burj Khalifa(one of the tallest buildings) 1 hour before their Fireworks Display is due to take place. Astonishing to watch on Sky TV as the fire takes hold down one side of the building. So far no one has been hurt, as reported at the moment, but caused panic to people in the area.

I hope nobody was injured but wonder how fire fighters are supposed to deal with fires in these ever higher buildings.

1 person mildly injured, 1 person had a heart attack due to inhalation of smoke and a handful also taking in smoke were treated. Could have been far worse. Now saying the fire started on the 20th floor. One witness in the building said no sprinklers came on straightaway or alarms.

That was a witness who was in the building, but he also said there was a lot of panic in the hotel, so maybe it will all come out in the investigation as to whether that was true or not that he did not hear an alarm or there when sprinklers were supposed to come on.
