Hi, we had a parcel sent via Royal Mail International trace & Sign, on 7/12/2015. we tracked it all the way to Larnaca where it has stayed since 23/12/2015. Royal Mail are not interested, we don't want to claim we want our parcel but don't know how to get it, has anyone else had similar issue? I should have said it is going to po box in south ....
Thank you for reading.........

Is it a case that in the south they cannot complete the tracking, not connected to the UK system? Not sure exactly how international 'post office' works once it is out of the PO hands.

I assume you have checked the PO Box.
The wife keeps complaining I never listen to a word she says ............. or something like that.

I would put the tracking number in here on the Cyprus mail's tracking website

http://ips.cypruspost.gov.cy/ipswebtrac ... submit.htm

and then print this out and take it to the main Nicosia post office here http://goo.gl/maps/3gxMbvPiX5t and ask them (the parcel section is on the right hand side as you go in the main front entrance)

There does seem to be some kind of issue with tracked parcels between the UK and Cyprus. My brother sent me something from the UK and the UK post office he sent it from insisted that they could not send a tracked / signed for parcel to a Cyprus PO Box address and that he had to put the address of the post office where the PO box was. The Cyprus post office insisted that they could accept tracked / signed for parcels addressed to PO Boxes (and I have had such without problem from China, Singapore, Germany and France) and that the UK post office was wrong. In the end my brother did address it (incorrectly) to the Cyprus Post office and I had to go to the Post office and explain this. The package had got as far as Larnaca but they did not know where to send it to next until I went to the main Nicosia post office and explained all this, where a very helpful man worked out where the package was - rang them and told them the PO Box address it should go to. A couple of days later it was ready for collection (showing as being at the Post office and with a collection slip placed in the PO Box).

My brother sent parcel via RMail with tracking to C/o Lapta PO, which is what we use here for all mail. The tracking stopped at Istanbul where it appeared to be for about 7 days - however it eventually arrived in Lapta for our signature and collection. Needless to say, no date marks on it at Lekosa, Girne or Lapta. Incidentally, it contained 2 CDs.

I sent a packet (containing a document) from Manchester by international track and sign, clearly labelled on front to destination (Girne Mersin 10) and on back "Sender = (me)" - it disappeared from tracking after reaching London. After phoning seven days later, it suddenly reappeared on tracker site at Istanbul.
No change for ten days, then suddenly reappears as delivered in Manchester (different postal area). Another phone call - "it's been delivered this morning, returned to sender"....! NO, it hasn't - I don't live in that area - but the suppliers of the document (inside a sealed packet) do... Clearly, they had ignored the outside of the envelope and opened it to see inside....
Tracking now suddenly shows that between Istanbul and "delivery" in Manchester, the packet dropped in at Belfast! I contact the suppliers of the document to recover it - NO; they have never received it either....
End result - total loss of document, requiring new start, and clear proof that tracking is worthless, as manual entries can be/are made to cover up....A replacement document was taken over by a friend...
Incidentally, three weeks earlier, I sent a similar packet to the same address by the same method, and it took just five days to be received!

We had a parcel sent addressed mersin 10 but the sender also added Cyprus, when we tracked it the parcel had gone to Larnaca, 3 weeks later after assuming we had no chance of recieving it, parcel turned up in Girne PO

Have also discovered that Registered Mail from UK is only trackerable until mail reaches Istanbul, then the system finishes. This was info from Royal Mail UK. The envelope did eventually arrive at our PO Box, but had been treated as normal post from Istanbul to here.

If you are having a parcel sent to TRNC and it is has a tracking number, you can go to the main PO in Girne, with the tracking number and if the parcel is in TRNC anywhere, they can track it for you. Sadly, this is not the case with parcels with no tracking number, as I have found to my (and my friends') cost.

My point about UK Registered Mail is that you can put some sort of value against contents of a package which is OK as far as Istanbul. The PO in Karaoglanoglu understood what a Recorded Delivery was, but he had no understanding of a Registered package.

Packaged collected today from South side .....went Monday with a photo of the tracker that Erol provided (thank you Erol that was really helpful) lady made phone call and said the parcel will be delivered at the engomi office Tuesday ready for pick up today.....and that is exactly what happened! Reason for parcel remaining at Larnaca "parcel had Incorrect address on" duh!! Lesson learnt, don't leave it, enquirer within 7 days of arriving in country...marvellous service once they were able to identify where parcel should be sent. I was very lucky too, as they were about to RETURN TO SENDER......thanks everyone
