I can find little information regarding short distance removal/delivery services within TRNC. I would be very grateful if any one can offer advice in this respect ie " Local Luton Van Man" or, as American's might say, "A Dude with a Bad Ass Truck"

There's a guy who advertises in Cyp Today classified "Man & Van". If he's not doing it now, best ting just to ask around your T Cypriot friends.

I have been saying for years now that somebody could make a killing in this country if they were to set up a Removal Company as we would know it in the UK using proper sized vehicle. Plus open a warehouse. Heaven only knows what you do here if you want to move house. I see locals driving flat bed trucks piled high with stuff and badly tied down, perhaps that's all there is. I certainly wouldn't want my stuff moved like that, but perhaps there is no alternative. if someone had a Luton, it would mean at least six loads back and forth to move what we have.

I remember seeing an advert in one of the Living Magazines about a removal chap who has a huge van/lorry. He is based in Lefkosa and I guess if you called into the Living Magazine office in Lapta they would have the contact details, I also think they have used him before (we couldn't because his van was too big to get up the small roads to our house).

Thank you all for your quick responses which give me some avenues to follow as Sophie's comment is so accurate. It also prompted somebody to contact me off board. The Wildebeest (bless her) may soon be singing "My ol' Man says follow the van" but I will not let her hang on the back bumper unless her finger nails have been manicured !
