Cleaning traventine windowsills?
Any good ideas please? Sorry if spelling is wrong

If it is just normal surface dirt , I find the window spray works well or washing up liquid and small brush.

Travertine is quite soft and any marks paint spots etc. can easily be removed with a paint scraper. It can also be sanded with smooth abrasive paper.Remember that it is also absorbent and should be sealed to keep the weather out.

Yes sanding with fine sandpaper to remove paint etc. brings it up a treat - and yes to sealing - I use Stone-O-Seal bought in the south it goes on very easily sinks in and makes it waterproof... We use it on all marble floor surfaces.
