That made me smile TomSteel but he may even have the gall to try and charge us expats for that little bit of Esentepe rain

My TC neighbour told me she will be charged a total of 1000 YTL as opposed to the 4100 YTL expats are being charged. I have raised this point to the Interior Minister as a discriminatory case, which contravenes Article 8 of the TRNC Constitution. We await an answer from him.

I will very interested to see what the response will be.
It is blatant discrimination and absolutely disgraceful. I'm not aware that any of the expats living in other municipalities are experiencing this. He can't be allowed to get away with it surely but there again (shrugs shoulders) "it's Cyprus".
